With hundred years of Indian cinema gone by, the event revisited the world of old Hindi film music. It acknowledged the efforts of silent arrangers who worked behind music directors of yester years and helped make the magic happen. Mr. Ashwin Panemangalore, with the help of a presentation, enlightened the audience about the work of Jazz artists in the film industry. He made a special mention about the contributions of the musician, O.P. Nayyar. Mr. Panemangalore played Meri Sapno Ki Rani, Ayega Ayega, Thandi Hawaein Lehrati Aayi. Further, he spoke of the difficulty endured by musicians while they chose to use difficult instruments like the sitar as opposed to the popularly used Spanish guitar.
