30th September 2016, Friday
An unforgettable evening that witnessed an unusual, one of its kind eurhythmy performance by Sahya Samson and Flavius Pisapia based on three poems of Randhir Khare composed on the occasion of the Soul Journey art exhibition by the Italian artist- Flavius Pisapia.
Veronica Krishnayya, the well-known musician, conductor, music teacher and voice trainer, read the poems while Sahya Samson, brought alive the spirit and meaning of the poems through the eurhythmy performance. The artist and sculptor, Flavius Pisapia will joined his wife Sahya in the performance of the last poem.
The poems talked about the harmony of the body and soul. Veronica Krishnayya’s reading of the poems by Randhir Khare and the eurhythmy performance come together in a beautiful harmony, expressing the language of the soul.
What is Eurhythmy?
Eurhythmy is inspired by Ancient Greek dance and means ‘harmonious movement’. It has been created from the spiritual philosophic movement of Rudolph Steiner.
