4th December 2015, Friday
Eminent theatre personality Sanjna Kapoor graced Gyaan Adab with her presence on the first day of Journeys, on 4th December 2015. She inaugurated the festival of arts with a flourish of flowers and the cutting of the ribbon. Following which, there was the opening of the art gallery, photography exhibition and book exhibition by the renowned theatre personality. As the evening sun dulled into a bloody red circle, she presented her keynote address on the importance of culture and theatre in the society. Before she began her speech, she merrily flagged off cycles that went around Kalyani Nagar for the duration of 20 minutes, carrying both Cymour and Gyaan Adab’s message for ‘journeying’.
