Empty Café

December 6, 2014 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Indian Classical meets Blues-Jazz

Empty Café is a Fusion-Funk band and draws heavily from Indian Classical and blues-jazz. Empty Café as a band has been striving to create a new image for ‘fusion music’, which is very different from the sound that most people associate with it. They believe in actually fusing two genres and instruments together rather than just sticking them onto each other superficially.

Empty Café’s EP titled ‘whatever its called’ that was released early 2013 was on #4 on NH7 radio charts on the week of their launch. Tracks off their album were also aired on Los Angeles based radio ‘The Uprising’ KPFK 90.7 FM LA. They performed at the revival of the BandStand Culture in April 2013 to a highly delighted and enthusiastic crowd.
Being one of the most promising acts around, Empty Café tends to blow away audiences with their unique sound and deep know how of two completely varied genres.
