Gyaan Adab in association with Dignity Foundation was delighted to announce COMPANIONSHIP CARNIVAL that celebrated the right of senior citizens who are alone and single to the companionship and love of a partner. Dignity Foundation has brought elder men and women, couples or singles, together over the last twenty years, and now it is moving forward to encouraging elders to finding partners within a formal marriage or living together with or without taking wedding vows, as they choose.
To make this occasion a truly memorable one, the evening was alive with music sessions, interactive games, a poetry reading session, a fashion show and of course lip-smacking refreshments. Mr. R Vasudevan, Chairman VASCON Builders was the Guest of Honour for the evening.
After the audience had their fill of food and coffee, informative talks by legal expert Mr. Samuel Waghchaure and the psychotherapist Dr. Parul Khona were held. They spoke about the legal and psychological implications of marriage at a later age in life. The musical session later on and the fashion show were highlights of the session! Not to mention the lovely skit that concluded it all.
