A gripping, action packed, theater play with hard hitting dialogues, a gifted cast, experimental lighting and set design all brought together by a story of personal discovery and freedom.

Breaking free tells the story of a man who wakes up one fine day to find himself disappearing. Utter chaos and drama ensues as he, his family and his employers try to make sense of the situation.
As the story reaches its climax, one realizes that the ordeal that the protagonist undergoes is very similar to the struggle and existential crises that we all go through at some point of time in our lives.

Written and Directed by none other than Mr. Randhir Khare himself, Breaking Free was the first production of Gyaan Adab Players. A theatre company formed by Gyaan Adab, committed to enriching the Pune performance arts scene by setting new trends in experimental and contemporary theater. Randhir Khare has received 12 awards for diverse roles like direction, acting, light – set design and drama aesthetics.
