Gyaan Adab invites you to the launch of Dilip Mohapatra’s second book of poems, ‘Different Shades’ published by Authorspress India, which reflects his myriad moods, memories and emotions. The book which has received rave reviews has been listed as a Bestseller in the Poetry category on Amazon India.

The launch of the book will be followed by a reading and discussion with the poet.

Dilip Mohapatra (b.1950), a decorated Navy Veteran started writing poems in the seventies. His first ever published poem titled Target Practice appeared in Illustrated Weekly of India in 1971, he has since, been writing contemporary poems in English and quite a few of his recent poems have appeared in literary journals of repute worldwide, like the World Poetry Yearbook 2013, New English Review, The BlazeVOX, The Helix Magazine, The Indian Review, The Muse India, the Chiaroscuro Magazine, The Contemporary Literary Review of India, Statesman, etc. Some of his poems are included in the World Poetry Yearbook, 2013 along with the works of 211 from 93 countries. His first poetry collection titled ‘A Pinch of Sun & other poems’, also published by Authorspress India was listed as a Bestsellers in the Poetry category on Amazon India for some time. Some of his recent poems are included in a couple of anthologies which are currently under publication.
