Wuthering heights by Emily Bronte

About the Novel: Emily Bronte’s only novel is a rare attempt at a complex weave of human passion and fate in a timeless world. Wuthering Heights is a fiery Victorian novel of passion, betrayal, revenge and death set in the bleak Yorkshire Moors. Heathcliff and Catherine share a love that is intense but brings heartbreak and tragedy in its wake.

About the Author: One of the three Bronte sisters who gained an enviable reputation for their passionate writing, Emily was a rebel and defied the rigid moral system of her times. Both her poetry and her prose are fine examples of Romantic literature.

About the Presenter: Indu Kulkarni was a professor of English Literature and retired as Principal, Bhavans College (Andheri). Now retired in Belgavi, she enjoys painting nature and writing poetry.
