The book reading event introduced the audience to Tejaswini Apte-Rahm’s recent book, These Circuses That Sweep Through The Landscape. It was moderated by popular Puffin author Leela Gour Broome. The book is a collection of short stories which the author wrote during her travels across the world. She read excerpts from The Mall, The Girl Who Loved Dean Martin and the title story, The Circuses That Sweep Through The Landscape. Characterised with a certain darkness, the stories kept the audience in rapt attention. The reading was followed by a Q&A session which also led to the audience gaining some great insight on creative writing. The event came to a close with the author signing her books for readers who were enthusiastic to know more about her work.
