Well-known Indian actor Naved Aslam and prominent television actress Riva Bubber enchanted the audience with their specially-curated interview that shared a slice of Satyadev Dubey’s life.
Satyadev Dubey was an Indian theatre director, actor, playwright, screenwriter, and film actor and director. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1971. He won the 1978 National Film Award for Best Screenplay for Shyam Benegal’s Bhumika and 1980 Filmfare Best Dialogue Award for Junoon. In 2011, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.
Naved then went on to play the cello and sing a verse or two, commemorating Satyadev Dubey’s genius. And with excerpts from the life of other theatre personalities like Naseeruddin Shah, the duo managed to bring forth a most lovely session.
