ABOUT THE EVENT
On a warm Sunday morning, with the October sun beating down from the trees into the quiet scenic by lanes of Kalyani Nagar, the usual coterie of people shuffled into Gyaan Adab for their monthly dose of Jazz music and discussions.
This session was about luminaries like Gerry Mulligan, Max Roach, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin, Dave Holland, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea and Joe Zawinul all of whom were talents recognized and harnessed by Miles Davis. The session was conducted by Arvind Kher.
