Time is immaterial for Rabindranath Tagore, for the master’s voice is immortal. On the occasion of his 155th birth anniversary, Gyaan Adab and Nandanik celebrate Gurudev.
Discover the beginning of Tagore’s journey as a poet, writer, artist, musician, educationalist and Nobel Laureate with a documentary, talk and recitation of his poems. His words have encompassed other forms like art, music and dance. The programme will also pay homage to these aspects
There will also be an instrumental Rabindrasangeet on the violin and sitar based on Raag Malkosh. Tagore’s song Bhanusingher Padabali featured in the Bengali movie Abohoman will be highlighted with dance dramas
