About the Poet: Robert Frost was one of the foremost modern American poets of the 20th century. Celebrated as a National Poet by John F. Kennedy, Frost was a Pulitzer Prize winner. He was much loved and revered for his reading of the speech rhythms of farm folk. Ezra Pound called his poetry “simple” but Frost added the adjective “subtle”. Frost’s art lay in LIFE. About his Poetry: Frost’s poetry is a search for Truth and his joy in nature led him to explore the lives of the people around him. Humanity absorbs him and he accepts the quaint contradictions in life. Master poet of the world, along with W.B. Yeats and T.S. Eliot, he has created poetry that is timeless. He is tireless in his quest for truth. About the Presenter: Indu Kulkarni is a retired English Professor, a lover of Literature and the Arts. She now writes poetry and paints in Mango Meadows, Belgaum.
