Modikhanyachya Don Goshti (Documentary Film)

The documentary explores a neighborhood in Pune through the eyes of two artists. Sudhir Waghmare faithfully captures the everyday life of his neighborhood, New Modikhana. His canvases reveal the rich and overlapping layers of the social and political history of the place. In contrast, his daughter Kranti’s quest for form is a reflection her response to the environment she grew up in. In an effort to expand the horizons of her personal experience as a student of art, she discovers more creative ways of collaboration with her community.
