For the Love of Jazz

The Pune Jazz & Blues Club return with this month’s programme on how jazz influenced history!

The session will focus on the three monumental conflicts of the century gone past…the Black Movement and the struggle for human rights in the US, the Cold War in Europe and the attempts of the East European people to overthrow the Communist yoke. Jazz has played a significant role in each of these aspects and how the music and the musicians emerged shaping these will be the focus of the programme. The presentation will be conducted by Hemant Sirur.
