Expressions- A contemporary guitar recital

With Jayant S on the guitar and Anoop Kumar’s narrating spoken text, Expressions will focus on contemporary classical guitar music featuring works by Leo Brouwer and Nikita Koshkin. Both are among the best-regarded modern composers in the field of guitar. The music will be threaded with a narrative-expressive component featuring prosaic/poetic passages created by a collective of writers.

About the artists

Jayant S.
Normally known as a jazz bass player across several styles in the genre, Jayant has continued to explore his interests in the contemporary classical guitar. He holds an LTCL Recital Diploma, which was awarded to him for a program featuring works by modern composers.

Anoop Kumar
Anoop is familiar to Pune audiences for his eclectic and energetic musical performances across several genres. As a narrator for this recital, he is harnessing his other interests in literature and spoken delivery.
