A reading and a discussion with the author PLUS an engaging audio-visual featuring the experiences of a host of international women writers.
THE BOOK: Solo in Singapore is a rip-roaring, side-splitting account of a young girl’s experience in an alien land and her efforts at keeping herself buoyed in choppy waters.
THE AUTHOR: Tanushree Podder is a well know travel-writer and novelist whose first novel Nurjahan’s Daughter was published in 2005. It was followed by Boots Belts Berets, which has now been reissued in an abridged version.
