ABOUT THE EVENT
Gyaan Adab was happy to host a film screening of City Bakery directed by Alka Sadalkar. The film had woven a fictional story around Pune’s City Bakery. The film narrates the life of Astaad Irani, a college-going Parsi man who runs the family-owned City Bakery. He finds it quite an obligation and has his mind set elsewhere. The film beautifully captures the essence of a regular Parsi family. Further, the film depicts Astaad’s life where he goes on to find love, and slowly begins loving everything related to the Bakery.
