ABOUT THE EVENT
On popular demand, Hindustani vocalist, Astha Shukla was invited to Gyaan Adab for a recital that celebrated spring. Accompanied by Leeladev Chakradev on the harmonium and Abhijit Bartakke on the tabla, Astha began her recital with some semi-classical songs before moving onto ghazals.
The master of ceremony for the evening was Dr.Veena Pani Shukla, who is also Astha Shukla’s first guru and her mother.
