An enlightening evening that provided an insight into Wordsworth’s and other lake poet’s poetry.
The audience was transported to Cumbria, or the Lake District as it is popularly known as Dr. Mohini Khot and Mr. Satish Khot presented visuals of the beautiful, unspoilt hilly terrain.
The multimedia presentation threw light on the poetry of some of the greatest English Romantic poets. Foremost among them, William Wordsworth, who described himself as a “worshipper of nature”.
This was followed by a reading of his poems.
