A graded artist of Doordarshan, Sarita Mishra started learning Odissi dance formally at the age of four. In addition to being a dancer, she is actively involved in teaching dance and conducting various workshops & lecture demonstrations.

Her performance will take you to the deep insignia of ‘Maharis in Temple’ the origin of Odissi, while her postures tend to portray a majestic sculptural silhouette of Black Pagoda. Be witness to a sublimely lyrical and graceful performance that is a real treat to the eyes of any connoisseur of pure dance.

Founded in 2010 by Smt. Mamata Mishra, Kalinga Kala Kendra is a growing institution devoted to promoting classical music learning with a new conceptual method- through scientific, logical and yogic aspects of learning fine arts.
