Children’s Book Club

Ruchi Sharma
The children’s book club is an initiative to cultivate the wonderful habit of reading in young minds and to enable critical thinking in them through the way of discussion of the books they read.
The second session will cover the book ‘Inside Out and Back Again’ by Thanhha Lai. Inspired by the author’s childhood experience as a refugee—fleeing Vietnam after the Fall of Saigon and immigrating to Alabama—this coming-of-age debut novel told in verse has been celebrated for its touching child’s-eye view of family and immigration.
Ruchi Sharma will moderate the session.
