CHERIAL MASK WORKSHOP
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Cherial Mask making is an art form from Telengana. Led by artist Saikiran Varma, this three hour session will consist of moulding, shaping and painting Cherial masks.
The workshop will have two parts: making the mask and painting it. Both the sections will be covered in three hours. All raw materials will be provided.
ABOUT HEART FOR ART
Heart for Art is a public charitable trust running an online portal for local artisans to project their craft in the urban market space. We also run workshops across the country that are conducted by the local artisans; providing a common space for a dialogue between the traditional and the modern.
