Landscapes of My Mind
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
A series of landscapes revealed through a play of colours hidden in shapes, offering the viewer the possibility of a free play of imagination and creative visualisation. This form of inspirational engagement draws the viewer into an intimate sharing of the artistic experience.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Akshay Alurkar, is a Pune-based artist who works in acrylic on canvas – his preferred medium as it leaves him “with a lot of scope for working in layers in a lesser time”. He strives in his art to move away from obvious representation and explore instead, suggestive expression.
