This will be followed by a reading of Premchand’s Miss Padma and an audio-visual presentation of his works. \nFacilitated by Nasima Merchant\, Vijaya Tecksinghan\, Kanchan Tripathi and Mumtaz Peerbhoy \nEk Shaam Hindi ke Naam is an initiative by Gyaan Adab to highlight the many eternal works in Hindi literature. \nABOUT THE WRITER\nDhanpat Rai Srivastava began writing under the pen name of “Nawab Rai” and soon switched to “Premchand”. He has been lauded for his rationalistic outlook on everyday struggles of the poor and middle-class in his writing.
