DESCRIPTION:Life begins with evolution of matter. It takes on a concrete form and molds itself in accordance to its surroundings and builds the personality of an individual. But life moves with action. During the course of life\, a person learns to embrace a profession\, compete against others in his line in order to better himself love with unbridled passion and spirit to achieve his goals. Energy\, passion and action drive him on the same qualities that are alive in the spirit of a majestic horse. This series of horses but Utpal Mazumdar celebrates this spirit. \nAbout Utpal:\nUtpal is a Finance Professional (Cost Accountant) with an Engineering (BE Electronics) background and has spent more than 20 years in organizations like Microsoft/ HSBC/Godrej and SAIL in various areas of IT Consulting\, Financial Management and Project Management. He is currently the Director at Crimson Consulting: An Academy and Consultancy of Microsoft-ERP/CRM.\nUtpal tries to balance between his hectic professional world and his passion for different shades of colors. He finds solace in the vast expanse of his canvas\, immersing himself in the vibrant hues\, creating abstracts\, forms and figures. Growing up in a small steel city\, Bhilai\, Utpal did not have any exposure or access to the different art exhibitions held in big cities. However\, right from childhood he had kept the flame of his passion alive and was basically self-motivated and self-taught.\nUtpal has had four solo shows\, three in Pune and one in Mumbai and has been a part of a group exhibition in Jaipur. \nAt the inauguration there will be dramatic readings from literary and other texts on the theme of the exhibition. \nThe exhibition will be on till Friday\, November 4\, 2014.\nTime: 10 am to 6.30 pm
