Feb 27th - March 4th (Sat-Fri)
Celebrating the culture and art of Ghana through Manisha Vedpathak’s exhibition, Gyaan Adab hosted an audio-visual presentation, a sampling of delicious snacks and an interactive session with the artist about her experiences living in this West African country during the inauguration of GHANA - THE LIFE OF A CULTURE.
Manisha’s bold work expressed the energy of the country’s cultural life - folk dancers, musicians, tribal symbols and the motherhood of Africa. Over the course of a week, the artifacts Manisha had brought were admired by plenty of visitors. Her vibrant paintings were equally appreciated, and the inauguration show engulfed the audience in a new and vibrant experience as they were exposed to her creations in acrylic on canvas characterized by vivid colors, complex composition and raw energy. The discussion between Randhir Khare and Manisha Vedpathak was another highlight of the event. The video link for the same shall be posted shortly!
