Celebrating Kabir

15th April 2016, Friday

Gyaan Adab experienced a sublime evening of poetry by Kabir, the 15th century mystic poet as Vipul Rekhi took centre stage that evening.

The session was conducted by Vipul Rikhi who in his performance brought an equal amount of charm to the poetry and its resonances in our lives as to the sheer beauty and simplicity of many of the folk tunes. It stood testimony to his talent that the Centre stood jam-packed once again!

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Vipul Rikhi is a poet, fiction writer, translator and singer whose work with Kabir Project includes extensive writings and translations in the field of Bhakti, Sufi and Baul poetry.
